Originally from Ohio, Katie began her healthcare journey with a Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition from Miami University, followed by a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron. She went on to spend five years as a pediatric intensive care nurse while earning her Master of Science in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Cincinnati.
After graduation, Katie pursued advanced training in cosmetic dermatology. During this time, she recognized that skin health and confidence often reflect deeper imbalances within the body. Her own experience with gut health challenges reinforced this perspective, showing her both the frustration of unresolved symptoms and the transformation possible with root-cause healing.
She pursued certification through The Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM), completing the Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice program as well as the WorldLink Bioidentical Hormone Replacement Therapy training series.
Today, she takes a holistic approach to wellness, focusing on functional medicine and hormone optimization. Katie is passionate about helping patients restore balance, vitality, and confidence.
